The Tourbillon II is in my opinion ideally suited to the lover of high horology, a serious watch collector. Because of the stainless steel case and black leather strap, it does not appear at first glance, to the unitiated eye, to be something out of the ordinary. For that reason I am comfortable wearing it casually and formally, as it does not scream "Look at me", and thereby attract unwelcome interest. The reaction of those who are watch enthusiasts has been unqualified admiration. It is one thing to look at watch magazines with glossy photos, but it is another matter to actually see a tourbillon functioning. The simultaneous rotations are mesmerizing, and its sheer complexity grows on you after you study it repeatedly. The mechanism is beautifully assembled. The dial is handsome and distinctive too, and the placement of the mechanism at the 12 o'clock position is tasteful and elegant without being ostentatious. It almost goes without saying that the watch's timing accuracy is superior.

This watch has an aura of reserved high sophistication and exclusivity. Wearing this watch confers a distinct pleasure that few material objects can match regardless of price. This is not an inexpensive watch, but I have never regretted buying it, and the price was very reasonable for a watch of such exclusive pedigree.
