When you put together the efforts of Jake Plummer and Morton’s, The Steakhouse the results are bound to be a great party, sumptuous food and a lot of it; and a lot of money raised for a good cause. This Monday was a perfect example.

The Jake Plummer Foundation brought together ten wine sellers with vintage wines from the most prestigious wineries in the U.S at Morton’s DTC and the place was soon packed with the elite of Denver’s sports and entertainment community including teammates Keith Burns and Jeb Putzier.

Guests took advantage of the opportunity to taste the wines and were given a chance at auction items that included art, entertainment packages, a signed Colorado Avalanche defensiveman John-Michael Liles jersey, worn at a game, a boxing glove autographed by the “Greatest of All Time”, MUHAMMAD ALI. Up for bidding were cigars, a guitar, several items signed by host Jake Plummer, and a stunning Montres Allison watch just to name a few. On hand for the live auction was Mike and Alison Wood of Auction & Event Solutions, Inc.

In 1997 Jake Plummer realized his lifelong dream to compete as a quarterback in the National Football League when the Arizona Cardinals drafted him. He was later acquired by the Denver Broncos in 2003.

Early on in his career, Jake realized that others were not as fortunate as him, and wanting to help, he established The Jake Plummer Foundation in 1999. The Foundation's mission is to provide opportunities that make a positive difference in the lives of sick and abused children, as well as to raise funds and generate awareness for Alzheimer's disease - a disease that affected his Grandfather and impacted his family.

Through giving back to the community that has embraced him, Jake hopes to be able to enrich the life experiences of those less fortunate.

Jake Plummer is a man who knows how to bring fun to his giving; some of the other events produced by the foundation are the Memory Walk to help fight Alzheimer's disease. The Bowl O Rama that raised over $100,000 last year, and a Celebrity Bartending Challenge. And of course the strolling feast at Morton’s. The money raised at these events goes to support not only Alzheimer’s research but also organizations like Family Tree who provide a broad range of services to families and youth from metro Denver to help overcome domestic violence and homelessness. Some of the funds raised at foundation events make the upcoming holidays a little sweeter like Christmas Shopping with Jake at Target and Gart Sports. Jake also played Santa Claus as he gave out over $20,000 worth of gifts donated on behalf of Sports Authority.

With the help of his Executive Director Zack Romero and a host of volunteers, Jake Plummer sets an example to other celebrities on using the blessings bestowed on them to help their communities and the world.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 Montres Allison Custom Watches

 1548 Karlann Drive

 Golden, CO  80403  USA

September 23, 2004 Nederland, CO, USA - Montres Allison announced today that for several months it has been manufacturing 18k gold and platinum watch cases, dials, buckles, deployant clasps, a variety of movement components for use in production timepieces, and boxes and in-store display units made from Aspen wood that are 'Made in the USA.'  To be more specific, all of these items are made in Colorado, USA.  This exciting news positions Montres Allison in a new, unique realm.  Montres Allison is the only watch manufacturer in the world to produce these high grade components in the USA.   Terry Allison, founder of Montres Allison said in a recent interview "Nobody else in the U.S. is doing this. A few other small watchmakers make “custom” watches, but they purchase all of their components from other manufacturers, as we used to do. Now, Montres Allison is setting the standard for the comeback of high-end watch production in America."

According to the Federal Trade Commission, "Made in USA" means that "all or virtually all" the product has been made in America. That is, all significant parts, processing and labor that go into the product must be of U.S. origin. Products should not contain any - or only negligible - foreign content.  Montres Allison is proud to announce that all of the above listed components are entirely made in the USA and do not contain any foreign content.

We are using a variety of equipment for metallurgy, machining, and finishing work including CNC and EDM machines.  In addition to all of this, we’re using a vintage hand operated straight line engine and a 180-year-old, hand-operated rose engine, made in Switzerland, to perform the guilloche work and some movement-component work, which are elements connoisseurs really look for in the highest quality timepieces.

Pictures and details can be seen at www.montresallison.com.

Montres Allison timepieces carry 1000 month warranties (83 1/3 years).

Montres Allison cordially invites anybody with an interest to visit our facilities in the mountains west of Denver, Colorado USA. Please contact us for a scheduled appointment due to security concerns.
